South Carolina only • 100% online • Physician-led

You don't need another diet. You need a doctor who takes your metabolism seriously.

Maybe the rules changed on you after 40, after kids, after menopause, or after years of doing everything "right." That is not a willpower problem. Simply Metabolic is physician-led telemedicine for South Carolina adults, led by a board-certified obesity medicine physician. Treatment options, including GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate, are considered only after a formal medical evaluation.

Starts with a free, informational intro call. No commitment, no pressure, and a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee on the six-month program. When medication is prescribed, it is real medication filled at a licensed retail pharmacy you select, never compounded. No prescription or result is guaranteed.

Why I Built Simply Metabolic.

After years of watching patients get rushed through high-volume weight loss programs, I knew there had to be a better way. I built Simply Metabolic to give South Carolina residents a more personal, physician-led approach, one rooted in careful medical judgment, individualized treatment, and real continuity of care.

Our goal is simple: help you improve your metabolic health with a plan that is safe, sustainable, and built around you.

Is Simply Metabolic right for you?

Designed for patients who want thoughtful, ongoing medical care.

This practice works best for people who want a structured plan and regular follow-up with the same physician, rather than a quick prescription request.

This may be a fit if

  • You live in South Carolina.
  • You want the same physician throughout your care, not rotating providers.
  • You are looking for ongoing treatment, not a one-time prescription visit.
  • You are comfortable paying directly, without insurance billing.

This may not be the right fit if

  • You live outside South Carolina.
  • You are mainly looking for the lowest-cost option.
  • You want a guarantee that a specific medication will be prescribed.
  • You need emergency care, primary care, or treatment for unrelated conditions.

Why Simply Metabolic

A more personal model than high-volume weight loss platforms.

Large telehealth programs can be useful. This practice is built for people who want direct physician oversight and a more personal experience.

02 / The whole picture

Not medication-first.

Weight history, medical risks, labs when indicated, lifestyle factors, and medication options are considered together.

03 / Ongoing support

Your plan evolves with you.

The goal is a safe, practical plan that is adjusted over time, not a one-time transaction.

30-day satisfaction guarantee

Experience the care first. If it is not the right fit, you only pay for the time you used.

The 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee is included exclusively with the Comprehensive Six-Month Program. If you decide it is not the right fit, no explanation or proof of dissatisfaction is required. Foundations does not include this guarantee.

How it works

  • Complete your initial physician evaluation.
  • Request cancellation within 30 calendar days after that completed evaluation, using the cancellation method in the patient agreement.
  • No explanation or proof of dissatisfaction is required.
  • Available once per patient. Requesting a refund ends participation in the program unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • You receive an itemized refund calculation showing the payment, program dates, unused days, any eligible deductions, and the final amount.
  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

How the refund is calculated

  • The unused portion of your $894 payment, prorated by day across the 180-day program, which begins on the date of your completed initial evaluation.
  • Deductions apply only for actual, documented laboratory costs the practice has already incurred, or other previously disclosed nonrecoverable third-party costs. Never merely because testing was ordered.
  • Payments you make directly to laboratories, pharmacies, imaging centers, or other third parties are separate and cannot be refunded by the practice.
  • After the 30-day guarantee period, the payment is nonrefundable except where required by law or stated in the patient agreement.

Cancellation does not end the practice's clinical responsibilities. You receive clinically appropriate transition instructions, access to your medical records, and any continuity-of-care measures required by law and practice policy. Full terms are stated in the patient agreement.

Medication costs

What will medication actually cost?

Your membership pays for physician services and program support. Medication is billed separately, dispensed through a licensed retail pharmacy you select, and is never included in program fees. Here is how that cost actually works.

If you have insurance

  • The practice reviews your coverage and provides prior-authorization and insurance-documentation support when medication is appropriate.
  • With coverage and an approved prior authorization, some insured patients pay very little for medication, in some cases as low as $0 per month.*
  • Eligibility rules, plan exclusions, and step-therapy requirements vary by plan.

If you pay cash

  • Cash-pay pricing for certain GLP-1 medications currently starts around $150 per month* and goes up from there, paid to the pharmacy and separate from your membership.
  • Where you land in that range depends on the medication, your dose, the pharmacy, and any manufacturer program you qualify for.
  • Current pricing is reviewed with you before any prescription decision, so you are never surprised at the counter.
  • Help is provided navigating access, shortages, and clinically appropriate alternatives.
  • Coverage, approval, availability, and your final medication cost are not guaranteed, and enrollment does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.

*Pricing information current as of August 1, 2026. Medication prices, insurance coverage, prior-authorization approval, pharmacy availability, and patient out-of-pocket costs vary and are not guaranteed. Confirm current pricing and coverage before making a treatment or financial decision.

Frequently asked questions

What will medication cost me?

Medication is billed separately from membership and dispensed through a licensed retail pharmacy you select. With insurance and prior-authorization support, some patients pay very little. The six-month program includes a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee: request cancellation within 30 days of your evaluation and the unused portion of your payment is refunded on a prorated basis. Foundations does not include it. See how it works.

I’ve tried everything. How is this different?

One physician reviews your history, labs when indicated, and lifestyle factors together, then follows up and adjusts your plan over time. It is a continuing relationship, not a one-time visit.
